5G krijgt competitie van Wi-Fi op 6 GHz
Productivity.be - Terwijl 5G momenteel alle aandacht wegkaapt als netwerk van de toekomst – ook voor de industrie – heeft de Wi-Fi Alliance aangekondigd klaar te zijn met Wi-Fi 6 dat net als 5G hogere snelheden en een lagere latentie biedt, maar dan op 6 Ghz. Die frequentieband moet wel nog vrijgegeven worden – iets wat de Wi-Fi Alliance verwacht in orde te komen in de loop van 2020.
